Vacancy List

The National Vacancy List is produced at the beginning of each month and is distributed electronically and by mail to those ministry personnel in Hamilton Conference who have requested it.  Please contact Janet Macaulay (jmacaulay@hamconf.org) to be added to the distribution list. You are asked to notify Janet when you no longer require the list.

If a vacancy has been declared at your congregation/pastoral charge the Joint Search Committee will receive a letter of instruction from the Conference Personnel Minister regarding the work that lies ahead of you, as well as the current National Availability List and a complimentary copy of the Pastoral Relations Guide. You are asked to provide the name and mailing address (including e-mail address) and telephone number of the Chairperson of your committee. Please note that this information will appear on the National Vacancy List as the contact person for your Pastoral Charge. The National Availability List will also be sent to this person each month.  Please send this information to Janet Macaulay at jmacaulay@hamconf.org.

The National Vacancy List may also be viewed on the Church Leadership Network Web site - a meeting place for leaders throughout The United Church of Canada to build relationships with each other. The CLN is sponsored and staffed by the General Council Office (the CLN Team) with the hope that this connection will help the work of the General Council staff more faithfully address the needs of the whole church. As such, the network is restricted to those who are currently involved in leadership positions within the United Church, or are in the process of becoming church leaders. To sign-up for an account or to sign-in, go to: http://churchleadership.united-church.ca.

Congregational Designated positions are not currently included in the National Vacancy List. Please see below for information regarding congregational postings and lay employee vacancies of which we are aware and for which permission has been given to us to post the contact information.
