BOUNDARY AWARENESS TRAINING FOR MINISTRY PERSONNEL

The Hamilton Conference Coordinating Committee on Sexual Abuse is offering training events on the new Sexual Abuse Policy for The United Church of Canada which came into effect on July 1, 2007.

Training for Ministry Personnel will be offered four times in 2008: Thursday, April 10, 9:00 a.m. to noon at Forest Hill United, Kitchener; and 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Burford United, Burford; Thursday, June 12, 9:00 a.m. to noon at St. Paul's United Church, Oakville; 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Trinity United, Grimsby. 84TH ANNUAL MEETING OF HAMILTON CONFERENCE

The 84th Annual Meeting of Hamilton Conference will be held at the Fergus Community Centre, 550 Belsyde Avenue, Fergus, Ontario from Friday, May 23 to Sunday May 25, 2008. Our President, Maggie McLeod, has chosen as her theme for this year “Toward Right Relations: A Journey of the Heart.” Registration forms and information are now available from your Presbytery Secretary or on our Annual Meeting page.

KAIROS

A cross-Canada conference and spiritual retreat for young adults ages 18-30 to connect with their own sense of spirituality and explore the choiece they  make in the world, discuss the 'big issues,' and challenge themselves to be socially responsible, spiritual people.
